Our Lady of Peace Retreat always welcomes new promoters to help with sharing the good news about our growing ministry. The following is a list of what has worked in parishes in sharing the news about our retreats.

• Promote ALL retreats, events and programs.
• Encourage the women in your parish to invite their husbands, sons, and fathers to attend retreats.
• Use this website to share Our Lady of Peace with those who have never been here. Email our website link to all those in your e-mail address book.
• Ask your pastor or deacon to encourage congregants to go on retreat from the pulpit.
• Invite your pastor to spend an overnight at Our Lady of Peace. All clergy are invited to stay overnight at no cost anytime. It is a wonderful way for your Pastor to get needed rest and to learn more about our retreat house.
• Make a short presentation to parish groups, e.g., Parish Council, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Knights of Columbus, Women's Club, etc.
• Invite people who have never been on retreat to an event.
• Print formal invitations to a retreat and send them to all the men/women of your parish.
• Never give up!!! Some men come on retreat after having been invited annually for ten years or more.
• Invite children to come on retreat for family bonding.
• Use the press release on this website to send information about your retreat to local newspapers, which will often list current events for free.
• Contact us for printed materials.
• Plan an alternate weekend retreat date for your parish for those who cannot attend the primary date.
• Never let MONEY stand in the way of making a retreat. All our retreats are donation based and no one is ever turned away.
